1. Acceptance of Terms

By using jumpingballslive.com ("the Service") you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

JumpingBallsLive is a browser-based physics simulation tool for creating bouncing-ball animations, customising their look and behaviour and exporting them as video files. Using the simulator and exporting videos is free; videos exported without a Pro licence carry a watermark (see Pro subscriptions). The Service is provided "as is" without any guarantee of availability or uptime.

Pro subscriptions

Playing with the simulator and recording or exporting videos is free; videos made without a Pro licence carry a watermark. Pro – $6.99 a month or $49 a year – exports them without the watermark and adds publishing to your accounts. Card and PayPal subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them (in Stripe's customer portal or your PayPal account); a crypto payment buys a prepaid period of 30 or 365 days that does not renew. A licence stays valid until the end of the period paid for.

3. User-Generated Content

When using the Service you may:

• Upload custom images, MIDI files and sound clips to use in your simulations.
• Create and export video recordings of simulations.
• Save simulation presets to your browser's local storage.

You keep full ownership of anything you create with the Service and may use exported videos for any purpose, including commercially, without attribution. A mention of jumpingballslive.com is always appreciated.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Disrupt, overload or interfere with the Service's infrastructure.
• Use automated tools to scrape or copy the Service's code or assets.
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful or infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
• Present the Service as your own product.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its code, design and branding, belongs to the operator of JumpingBallsLive. Videos and images you create with it are yours.

JumpingBallsLive, including the Gerald character, its name and its artwork, is proprietary software. Its source code is obfuscated and may not be copied, modified, reverse-engineered, redistributed, publicly displayed or used commercially without the owner's written permission.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including reliability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of JumpingBallsLive is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, revenue or profits.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Changes are posted on this page with a new date, and continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
